The world’s biggest manufacturer of air-powered vacuum cleaners is about to make another big investment in its air-filled vacuum cleaners.

The world’s largest manufacturer of vacuum cleaners says it will spend $300 million on new equipment for the next generation of the industry.

The Airborne Products Group, based in South Australia, will spend about $300,000 to buy two air-purifying vacuums and three air-sensing units, a company spokesman said.

“The vacuum is now able to provide a clean, dry and gentle clean and we believe that is very important to our customers,” the spokesman said in a statement.

“It will be our mission to provide the highest level of service possible to our clients and this investment will enable us to achieve this objective.”

The Airborn company, which makes air-spray vacuum cleaners and other products, said it had a market cap of about $2 billion.

The $300m investment will create more than 20 jobs in South Australian, where the company is based.

Airborne Products’ $200m investment in Australia is expected to produce about 3,000 direct jobs, the spokesman added.

“We will be able to add about $150,000 per annum to the local economy through these additional jobs,” the spokesperson said.
